Debates May 14

On the 14th of May there were debates held in the name of Europe’s day. To debate about the problems facing the EU, we had guests arrive from “Saulės“  high school. The topic of the debate was very relevant to us all. The teams hotly debated and held their positions by using examples, which are inseparable from everyday life. The audience of the debates also added to the occasion by clapping when the team that they supported spoke, thereby expressing their opinion. These debates were highly important for students and pupils, because the topic of the debate was once again about the EU and the problems its currently facing and ways to solve those problems. We are sure that this will encourage further discussion, which is a great opportunity for young people to contribute to the resolvement of the problems that are facing the EU now and in the future.
